Campaign emails

When you sign up, I collect — with your consent — just your email address, nothing more. You confirm your signup by clicking the link in the email you get afterwards; without it, the signup isn’t completed. I’ll write to you shortly before the campaign starts, during it, and after it. Your email is processed by MailerLite, and I keep it until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the footer of every email I send.

Site traffic

I measure page views with GoatCounter — no cookies, it only tracks aggregate anonymous counts. I do this on the basis of legitimate interest, to have at least some sense of whether anyone’s actually reading what I write. You can turn off measurement for your browser at any time via the link in the site’s footer.

Embedded videos

The Veronika’s Work page has embedded YouTube videos. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies, under its own rules.

Hosting

The site runs on GitHub Pages, so standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) are processed by GitHub.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Just write to kontakt@vendulasubert.cz. If you feel your data is being mishandled, you can file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
